Residential Support Worker for Autistic People

Therapeutic Support

Working with people with autism can be challenging, but this does not make the job any less rewarding. At Bright Futures we are constantly looking for enthusiastic people to become Support Workers. Every person we support deserves the absolute best, that is why we only invite the most dedicated people to join our team.

How we Support Autistic Young People

As a Support Worker, you would be playing a vital part in making a difference to the lives of young people with autism.  By working alongside them we can succeed in helping them accomplish their goals and dreams. Each person we support has different dreams that they want to achieve, and it is a privilege to be able to encourage them to reach their full potential.

At Bright Futures, we not only work hard to promote the happiness of the people we support, but also our colleagues.  As supportive and empathetic employers we support one another to ensure you enjoy the job and benefit from the positive work environment we immerse ourselves in.

No two days are the same when you are working with people with autism.  Each day they will inspire you in ways you never thought possible.  Although it is our job to create fun and stimulating environments, it often goes both ways. So even though there are some days that may not be as positive as others, you will have incredible experiences that will last both you and them a lifetime.

You will not only be spending time within each person’s home but will take the people we support out on fantastic trips. From long outdoor walks to visits to the local zoo, there won’t be a boring moment.  We want all of the people we support to experience everything that they want to, and you will be there to support them throughout the entire journey.

If you are interested in becoming a Support Worker, then take a look at the join the team page on our website. To learn more about us why not contact us today and speak to a member of our team.  We would be more than happy to help you with any queries that you may have.
