Specialist Learning Environments for Adults
Ensuring all of our adults are able to contribute to and benefit from community and peer interaction is a vital aspect of our specialist learning environments.
These learning environments aren’t limited to schooling or college opportunities either. Learning can happen in all aspects of life, and this is replicated by our tailored, support-led educational plans that allow each individual to progress at a rate that suits them.
With plenty of opportunity to integrate with the local community, whether by attending local events, assisting with community renovations and redevelopment or helping others also in need, our students and adults alike gain valuable life skills, a sense of achievement, personal growth and indeed an expanded network and community of friends.
Although our specialist school at Willow Tree Park caters for children and young adults up to the age of 25, this doesn’t stop us providing meaningful social and developmental education for adults of all ages. By helping adults learn to live more autonomously by tailored plans that can be stepped up or stepped down depending on individual needs, we offer a bespoke, caring learning environment that sets up your loved ones for success.
Our specialist learning environments offer adults the opportunity to:
- Develop social skills amongst peers and new friends.
- Feel a sense of accomplishment and achievement.
- Contribute positively to the local community.
- Develop a sense of independence and autonomy.
- Build on existing life skills with access to tailored support & learning.
