Introducing a new member of the Board and Leadership Team!

We’re proud to announce the arrival of the latest team member to join our Bright Futures family – Rachelle Russell! After an extensive search to find a candidate who shares the same goals, culture and understanding of the Bright Futures caring vision, Rachelle was the perfect fit, and we’re more than excited to introduce her to you all!

Working as our Operations Director, Rachelle has vast experience working in the special education and social care sectors, and as such will be a valuable asset to the team – and indeed the lives and wellbeing of all the children and young adults under our care here at Bright Futures.

As CEO of MacIntyre Academies Trust, alongside being the Director of Children and Young People’s Services for MacIntyre Charity, it’s fair to say that Rachelle has already made a huge impact on helping the lives of young people with special education and complex needs, and she’ll be bringing that experience and caring ethos to all of our young faces here at Bright Futures.

She’ll soon be visiting all of our sites in order to meet both the children and staff, so keep an eye out and make sure to give her a warm welcome! Also, with a penchant for reading, crafting and baking homemade cakes, we’re all looking forward to enjoying a sweet treat or two. Maybe we’ll hold our own Great Bright Futures Bake Off? No pressure Rachelle!

Without further ado, please join us all in giving Rachelle a warm welcome to the team!
