Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental condition that is characterised by challenges with communication, social interaction and sometimes learning. While ASD is diagnosed on a spectrum, the condition is a lifelong condition that can sometimes be difficult to manage.

Our learning disability and autism care services have been designed to help those with autism and any conditions associated with this reach their full potential. We offer education and residential care, all of which has been designed with the same goal in mind: helping people achieve their goals, live with greater independence, and lead fulfilling and successful lives.

Residential Autism Care

The majority of our locations are close to local communities and our residential facilities offer the opportunity for learning and growth. Permanent, specialist staff work with children and adults to meet their goals and fulfil their potential.

Each of our residential locations includes large outdoor settings, as well as communal living areas. We believe that it is vital for people to meet and interact with peers, and our homes have been designed with this in mind.

Individualised bedrooms offer an important personal space while allowing people a safe, relaxing environment. Our experience tells us that a combination of individualised care and support in ongoing communication is the best way to help our residents learn how to navigate the outside world.

Supported Schooling

As well as residential care, our Warrington, Cheshire and Merseysideautism care services also encompasses specialist education opportunities.

Our school staff know how to create a calm, productive environment that is tailored to the educational needs of individuals with autism, learning disability and challenging behaviour. Working alongside therapeutic colleagues to build calm environments that truly help students to reach their full potential.

All of our work is tailored around personalised learning and living plans. These inform the goals our pupils are working towards, and the activities they undertake on a daily basis. After all, what helps students most is a single unified approach to their care and learning.
