We’re expanding our St Helens Education offering with the development of Elm Fields School

Elm Fields School is currently under development in St Helens. Acting as an extension to our Ash Meadow School, it will increase the number of places we have available for our SEN Education.

We’re excited to share the development of a new School in St Helens that will act as an extension to our current Ash Meadow School.

Giving a new lease of life to a much-appreciated community building; the Clock Face Pub in St Helens, will be developed into this new Elm Fields School. With a capacity of around 54 new school places, the new development has been driven by the demand for specialist education in the area, alongside Bright Futures vision, to enhance communities, and the lives of its pupils and their families.

The Clock Face Pub has served the St Helens community for many years, and now that we have taking ownership of the building, we’re committed to continuing that community energy and positive presence locally. With our Ash Meadow School already located and active in the area, the expansion of our education offer and development of this new school provides more opportunities to collaborate with families, businesses, and the local community.

We’re incredibly excited to extend our education offering to our St Helens community. Our mission is to continue to provide the highest quality education to ensure our pupils reach their maximum potential, but also to build lasting relationships with local partners that will enrich their lives both now and in the future, and enrich the community as a whole.” Said Headteacher Vicky Tijani.

Construction on the new school started on-site in June 2024 to transform the Clock Face Pub. At this stage it’s too early to announce the intended opening date other than 2025.
