With small class-sizes and special teaching strategies our schools are designed to accommodate students with SEND.
Our schools and colleges:
Educate children and young people from age 5 to 25 with complex needs, learning disabilities, sensory needs, and autism.
Are adapted to meet the sensory needs of students and enhance their receptive and expressive communication.
Provide good access to technology including ICT.
Are adapted to meet the needs of students, including their health and personal care needs, during the school day.
Are designed so that students can access the curriculum, and school environment to the maximum extent possible.
Have ample grounds, classrooms, and specialist spaces.
Allow students to access small group or individual lessons, with a healthy level of classroom support, for a range of subjects.
Provide a broad and balanced curriculum including outdoor education and vocational studies.
Are ideally located to provide ready access to school trips, enrichment activities, social activities, and a social, moral, spiritual, and cultural education.
Support the development of teamwork, social, communication, and independence skills.
