Our Education Governance Structure

Bright Futures Schools’ governance structure is built on strong collaboration and a shared commitment to high-quality education. The Local Governors Sub‑Committee (LGSC) and the Board of Governors work closely to provide clear strategic direction, ensure accountability, and uphold the standards set out in the Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and Independent School Standards (ISS). Their joint focus is to support the school’s vision while responding to the needs of pupils, families, and the wider community.

To maintain effective oversight, the Education Committee and the Board operate through open, two-way communication. Regular sharing of information and performance data helps ensure transparency, consistency, and well-informed decision-making across all levels of governance.

Every member of the governance team has completed comprehensive safeguarding training and fully understands their responsibility to promote the safety and well-being of all pupils. This shared commitment underpins every aspect of governance within Bright Futures Schools.
