Lymm SEN Support

Children's Books on Blanket

At Bright Futures Care, we offer specialist education and care to people with autism and a variety of learning disabilities. We work to help everyone achieve the goals they want to meet in a safe, supportive environment. Our Lymm special educational needs (SEN) support has been specially designed to help everybody reach their full potential, whatever their needs.

One-to-one schooling, ongoing therapeutic support, and personalised learning plans all work towards a common goal of helping our students live a successful life, whatever their success might need to look like to make it meaningful to them and their education.

We know how important it is to tailor activities to the needs of each student. That’s why personalised learning plans are vital; the goals and skills of every student are taken into account, before specific activities are chosen to help achieve whatever that person wants.

Therapeutic support is a vital part of everything we do at Bright Futures Care. Working alongside Shine Therapy, we offer both Occupational and Speech and Language Therapies to help meet the needs of every person in our school and college.

We utilise a community-based approach to both our residential and educational settings, helping young people connect with peers to enrich their experiences. All of this is, of course, overseen by a team of specialist, permanent staff that have experience helping those with autism and learning disabilities of every kind.

We aim to fit around what you need, offering both residential with education and day placement options. These learning opportunities are spent preparing students for everyday life and helping them to get to the place they want to be.

The flexible day placements we offer provide the opportunity to access specialist education whilst remaining in a familiar environment without having to move into one of our residential care homes.

Sometimes staying at the family home is not the best option for everyone. It is for these circumstances that we can also offer specialist education support as part of our residential care home locations. These placements are typically on a 52 week basis and offer the level of care that you would expect during education and whilst at home.

Our Lymm special education needs school has been designed to meet the wide variety of individual needs that people with a learning disability and / or autism and behaviours that challenge have.
