Carl enjoys the beach and is very sociable, it’s calm and peaceful surroundings have such a positive impact on his wellbeing. His team were able to find a community volunteering group that meet regularly to litter pick and clean up the beach.

With the support of his team, Carl integrated into the beach clean-up group comfortably. This has had such a positive impact for Carl, he achieves a sense of pride and accomplishment, whilst enjoying the social interaction and inclusion with people who aren’t paid to support him.
