Every year, our Big Thank You Day gives us a chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate the remarkable individuals who bring our values to life each day. Our care teams, educators, business support colleagues, and everyone working behind the scenes to help us deliver the best support for the people that live and learn with us.
It’s a day where we turn the spotlight on our colleagues, who show unwavering commitment and dedication, compassion, and teamwork. Each and every day, our teams ensure the people we provide support and education to feel valued, listened to, and get the most out of life – our colleagues go above and beyond, making a real difference – creating opportunities and experiences across our schools and homes.
Across our sites, we had a range of celebrations to mark the occasion. From the people we support putting poems together for our teams, a coffee van turning up at one of our Bright Futures Schools, celebrations across our homes, gifts and notes of appreciation, buffets of food, teambuilding activities and more…
Although each of our locations celebrate slightly differently, one tradition since the start of Big Thank You Day in 2023 is a cake delivery to our sites, alongside a handwritten card from line managers and gift to each member of our team. This year’s gift was a branded on-the-go coffee cup.
