Introducing our new Quayside School in Salford, Opening in 2026

We’re proud to share an exciting milestone for Bright Futures as we prepare to open our brand-new Quayside School in 2026. Alongside our current specialist schools across Lymm and St Helens, our new Salford School expands our SEND education offer to more students across the North West.

Purposefully designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, specialist education, Quayside School will provide a state-of-the-art learning environment for up to 30 students aged 5–19 with autism and learning disabilities.

Building works at Quayside School are now complete, marking a significant step forward in bringing this school to life. Our Education Team is now beginning the exciting process of transforming the space into a vibrant learning environment, enriched with specialist resources, therapeutic spaces, and tailored learning areas; creating a space where every student feels supported, understood, and empowered to succeed.

Building on Strong Foundations

At Bright Futures, we already deliver specialist education through our schools and college in Lymm and St Helens, supporting children and adults with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. The opening of Quayside School represents a step forward in our mission to provide sector-leading, forward-thinking education that puts students, families, and outcomes first.

A Personalised Approach to Learning

Quayside School will be equipped with modern facilities and supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, including teachers, therapists, and SEND professionals.

Students will benefit from:

  • Individualised learning plans tailored to reducing barriers to learning
  • Evidence and research-based education that is adapted to meet the needs of our students.
  • Integrated therapeutic support
  • A broad and holistic curriculum
  • Preparation for life beyond the classroom

Our focus is simple: to create meaningful opportunities for every student to grow, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.

Working Together with the Community

We know that great outcomes are built through strong partnerships. That’s why we are committed to working closely with local authorities, health services, community groups, and businesses — building inclusive networks that support not only our students, but their families and the wider community.
