Why Do We Need Residential Support Workers?

Sack Race

At Bright Futures, we are always on the lookout for amazing people to join our incredible Support Worker team. It is a role that is a vital part of what we do.

But what is it that our Residential Support Workers bring to the team?  Well, the list is endless, so we’ve put together some of the most important things that this team offers the people we support.

Security & Safety

Above all, Bright Futures is a place where our children and young adults come to either live or study, in a warm and welcoming environment centred around their individual needs.  We want to develop an organisation that allows for everyone to find success, whatever that looks like to them, and achieve the best possible life outcomes.

This is where you come in!   All the team make sure that each and every one of the people we support are safe, happy and well supported.  As far as we are concerned, this is their most important role.

The Importance of Every Day

As much as we love thinking about the big picture, it is the ‘every day’ that is so important to the people we support.  From getting dressed to getting on with their day, it is the job of our Residential Support Workers to make sure that those we support are helped to complete their everyday activities.  It is all about helping them feel confident to build for their future by steadily developing their independent living skills and finding their areas of interest.

Fun, Games & Activities

When it comes to caring for the people that we support, we love thinking up exciting new games and activities that everyone can enjoy.  These games can also help to develop vital communication skills and really make a difference to their lives.

Our Residential Support Workers get involved in these activities, helping to organise them and ensuring that everyone is enjoying their time.  After all, what could be better than spending time helping those around you to have fun?

Bright Futures Care

The Residential Support Workers at Bright Futures make sure that everyone is healthy, happy, and excited to take on the challenges of their day.  Our amazing colleagues make all that we do possible.

That’s why we are looking forward to more people joining our team.  If you think that you are the right person for this job, we would love to hear from you!
