teaching at a specialist school

Being a Teaching Assistant is an absolutely incredible job. You are there to not only assist the teaching staff but also each individual student to ensure they get the best learning experience. The role itself is incredibly rewarding and there is plenty of variety within the job. This is especially true if you are a Teaching Assistant at a specialist school.

The role will provide many challenges and no two days will be the same. But this is one of the many reasons why it is an incredible opportunity to try something new!

About Us

At Bright Futures Care, we have an incredible specialist school based in Cheshire. This school was made to cater to children and young adults with complex communication, learning and sensory needs. Our aim is to provide inclusive education so that each student can reach their full potential.

We provide education to students from the ages of 5 to 25 and focus on lifelong learning so that our students will continue to develop their knowledge and skills once they have completed their formal education.

Everyone has different needs due to circumstances so we offer both flexible day placements to residential placements. Day students will live at home while still being provided access to high-quality specialist education. Our residential students are offered a wide range of support to ensure all their needs are met in regards to both their education and personal lives.

About The Job

There are lots of different aspects to this job, but one of the key things that we look for is a positive attitude and caring nature. These two things are incredibly important as the job can be tough, but also very rewarding.

You will have a vast range of responsibilities, from carrying out programs set by the teaching staff, to assisting students with aspects of their physical, social and emotional wellbeing, to general health and safety of yourself and others.

We offer fantastic benefits such as career development opportunities, child care vouchers, free parking and much more! You will be joining a friendly and supportive education team to help the students reach their full academic, social and personal potential.
